The Bungking Company was started by the long time custom automotive and motorcycle fabricator Darin Morris back in 2005. At the point the company first started if you needed a weld in threaded insert or counterbore your choices were pretty slim. You had a few choices pick from a few industrial pieces and modify to fit your needs, make them yourself if you had the equipment to accomplish it, or go to a local machine shop and pay through the nose for a small batch quantity. This to us seemed to be a problem, I decided to create an avenue for the masses to get these needed products in small quantities but a large batch quantity price. It started with just a few common products and kits and has now grown to a few hundred different products for use in all sorts of metal fabrication industries. More and more products are being added every day so check out the store often to see whats new. We offer a great selection of in stock threaded bung products in multiple lengths, diameters, materials and bolt sizes. Along with our standard products we do also make custom runs for customers all the time in quantities raging from 1 to 1000.
It doesn’t take long after looking through the site to tell that the bungs and other products are very cost effective. The average customer ranges from the at home builder that may only own a welder and a few hand tools to a large shop that has found it more cost effective to stock and use Bungking products instead of the labor costs of stopping production to create an inexpensive part. Business from customers large and small is welcomed, being able to help out the little guy just trying to get his dream project finished is always great as well as those big shops ordering 1000 parts at a time.
Along with all of our individual parts we also offer a wide variety of purpose built DIY kits. The do it yourself kits come with most everything you need to create your new part. All the tools you will need are those to do some trimming of some of the pieces to length and a welder to fuse them back together again. Moch up hardware is included to help from having to track down the proper nuts and bolts.
All of the products we have created has come from previous need in our welding and machine shop and years of creating high end custom bikes and hot rods. Along with all of our weld on products Bungking.com also now carries bolt on products. Most of these products help to serve a void in the marketplace in which we thought needed to be filled. Some of these products include or 49mm Quarter Fairing Adapter Brackets, multiple types of T-bars, Shifter Links and many more.
